Cheddar Fondue Sauce

Main Ingredient: Cheese

Yield: 1-2 cups

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • salt & white pepper, to taste
  • 1 c. half and half
  • 4 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded or cubed


  1. In a sauce pan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add flour to melted butter to form into a paste. Slowly add in half and half, stirring constantly. Over heat, continue stirring occasionally until mixture thickens. Add cheese and stir until cheese is melted.
  2. Serve over veggies or as a fondue sauce with bread.
